HOW TO OBTAIN A 2010 MSCS DRIVER LICENSE |
Haubstadt, IN. - Feb. 16. Beginning Wednesday February 17th sprint car drivers may purchase their new Midwest Sprint Car Series Driver License. Drivers expecting to compete with MSCS this season must have a current license or secure a temporary permit to participate in these sanctioned events.
The annual license can be purchased in advance of the season, at the first race on May 1st, or at any subsequent races. Once purchased, Annual Licenses are valid for each race the rest of the season. A Temporary Permit purchased at a track is good only on the date of that race. The annual license fee has been set at $50 again this year. Permits cost $25 per show.
Please note that as in the past four (4) seasons, drivers who acquire their MSCS License early can save $10 by purchasing it for the pre-season rate of only $40. A check or money order for $40 must be sent to MSCS along with a completed application form and be postmarked on or before Saturday April 17th, 2010. The special offer ends at that time.
Applications can be printed off line at www.mscssprints.com or requested by mail from MSCS Operations using the address: 4353 S. State Road 57 at Oakland City, IN, 47660.
An annual license purchased in advance of the season is the most economical and convenient method for a driver to use in preparing to follow the MSCS schedule during 2010. Licenses will be mailed to drivers within 7 to 10 days following the receipt of the completed application and payment.
